This forms part of the Central Highlands Workforce Development and Accommodation Strategy.
Ensure that the Talent Attraction Campaign is considerate of the findings of this work and is timed appropriately.
Stage 1 to be focused on placing the region on the radar and then Stage 2 to target identified areas of need.

PROGRESS REPORT
April 18, 2024: CHDC held a Focus Group session, conducted by Neon Logic, to gather valuable insights to shape our Talent Attraction Strategy.

April 29, 2024: Our Talent Attraction Project progresses with the selection of individuals from key industries like early childhood care and education, construction, health, mining, and trades chosen to showcase the Central Highlands as a great place to work and live.
June 12, 2024: A survey opened to gain insights from employees in the region about their motivations and experiences. The data will help to inform the talent attraction campaign. The survey closed on 15 July and received over 400 responses.
June 15, 2024: Scheduled a two-day video shoot with Neon Logic for August 8th and 9th in the region to create video editorials showcasing staff in hard-to-fill roles across various industries, highlighting the Central Highlands as an attractive place to live and work.
July 1, 2024: Identified and approached talent in hard-to-fill roles across multiple industries for the video shoot, coordinating through their employers and management.
July 30, 2024: Neon Logic presents the Talent Attraction Research and Strategy draft to CHDC.
August 8 & 9, 2024: Conducted a two-day video shoot with Neon Logic and CHDC, filming stories of individuals in hard-to-fill roles across the region to promote the Central Highlands.
August 22, 2024: Neon Logic will present the Talent Attraction Research and Strategy to WAC members.
